• Meet the Carvers of the Kamba Tribe who reside in Machakos, Kenya. The economically disadvantaged group continues the tradition of wood and bone carving that has been a part of the tribe for generations. They are paid fair wages for these beautiful pieces. There is a large population of orphans within the tribe and as a community, they support the children. The craftspeople are educated on the need for reforestation to honor the land and plant seeds in the rainy season.
